ICA (International Cotton Association)
The ICA was founded in Liverpool, England, in 1841, when a group of cotton brokers and merchants established a set of bylaws and rules to help regulate international cotton trading. Today, the ICA is a leading international cotton trade association and arbitration body. A significant share of the world’s cotton continues to be traded internationally under the ICA Bylaws and Rules, and the association has more than 600 members.
Through its ICA membership, the Company is able to source cotton from international cotton markets.

Organic Cotton Certification
By meeting Control Union and GOTS audit standards, DCT Trading has gained the capability to trade organic cotton worldwide.

BCI (Better Cotton Initiative)
The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is an international non-profit organization and the world’s largest cotton sustainability program. It is a multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together participants from growers to retailers to reduce the adverse environmental and social impacts of cotton production and make the industry’s future more sustainable. BCI’s approach is to equip farmers with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to continuously improve agricultural practices, including reduced pesticide use, efficient water management, improved soil health and better conditions for agricultural workers in line with internationally recognized standards.
